Finally I have uploaded my pics from this week’s photo challenges. I really had a LOT of FUN taking these pics. However, I wasn’t so good at taking a pic each day. But hey…at least I did all the challenges right??
Here they all are:
Day 1 SELF PORTRAIT
Now the funny thing is that I dressed up for my self-portrait as I didn’t feel like going anywhere that day. So…I thought I’d share what I REALLY did that day and a pic of what I really looked like that day and what I LOVE to do the MOST!
DAY 2 WHAT I WORE
This challenge was a little tough for me as the day the challenge occurred, I had to work. I didn’t feel much like taking a pic of my uniform because well, it’s just plain boring. And…I’ve taken pics of my uniform before for a special reason. So…I decided to take a photo of the outfit I wore on New Year’s Eve. I felt so good wearing this outfit that day. It made me feel so good about myself and I felt like a fashion diva.
DAY 3 CLOUDS
I enjoyed taking this photo. It wasn’t a really cloudy day when I took it, so I had to keep going outside to see if there were some interesting clouds to take a photo of. Finally I got my chance. This was taken from my mother’s backyard. Quite lovely I must say.
DAY 4 FAVORITE COLOR
I just LOVE the color TEAL and what better place to find things in the color I love than Pier 1 Imports. I love how the TEAL pops out of the brown on the first pillow. The second pillow doesn’t have as much teal, but I just couldn’t resist the paisleys. I don’t know why, but I’m drawn to them like crazy! Must be from the era I was born in. LOL
DAY 5 SOMEONE I LOVE
Well I wanted to capture a photo of the ones I love for this challenge. Since I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to use the most, I decided to set up two different photo shoots. These 3 men are the most important in my life so I HAD to get a photo of all 3 of them. And I couldn’t miss out on focusing on the most important man in my life. Don’t you just LOVE the expression on his face!
DAY 6 CHILDHOOD MEMORY
I wanted to take a photo of the music box I blogged about earlier, but I couldn’t find it. I think it got buried in the Christmas stuff and will not be found for another season. So…here is the photo I chose to take instead. My uncle Gunter from Germany worked at a pewter factory and always sent us little figurines. My mom had them displayed for many years and when I moved out, she gave me a collection of them. These little kitties are my favorite. I just love how playful they are.
DAY 7 SOMETHING NEW
I went to Charming Charlie’s for the first time with my BFF Kathie on Thursday. I found some KILLER deals and managed to get out of there spending less than $20. One of my FAVE goodies that I bought were these owl earrings. I was thrilled about the McQueen Blue color and the face that they were OWLS! Who could ask for anything better!
Well that’s all for this week! I hope you all did a FINE job keeping up with the challenges. If you didn’t, don’t feel bad, catch up today or tomorrow. Sometimes life gets a little hectic, but you won’t regret taking each one of these photos and remembering something special about them. YOU CAN DO IT!
