Weekend Catch-up January 23, 2012

Hey friends! Hope you had a GREAT weekend. I was out of town scrapbooking with my friends all weekend. I guess I was so distracted, that I forgot to post the photo challenges. Here goes:

Day 21 Take a photo of a PRETTY PATTERN.

I bought some pretty patterned papers over the weekend, so I think i will take a pic of one of those.

Day 22 Take a photo of TREES

It’s snowing today which will make for a perfect photo op.

Day 23 Take a photo of a SUNSET.

I’m sure with all the clouds, there will be some good sunsets.

Jan 20 Photo Challenge January 20, 2012

Whew…survived yet another week! I can’t believe that the end of the month is looming. I am really excited to see my stack of photos from this month’s challenge.  I have been thinking about what I want to do with this stack of pictures.  My friend Kathie taught me how to make a COOL mini album using 5×7 envelopes and those fastener things that slide over the prongs.  I think these photos are PERFECT for this size of an album.  Now, onto today’s challenge:

I just got my latest issue of All You magazine in the mail yesterday, so I will be spending a little time reading one of my favorite mags.

Jan 19 Photo Challenge January 19, 2012

Today is a WONDERFUL day! That’s what you need to tell yourself all day. Now put on your socks and shoes and get motivated!

I knew what today’s photo challenge was going to be, so I started getting motivated yesterday. Now it’s your turn.
Jan 19 Take a photo of WHERE YOU SLEPT.

I plan on changing out my sheets this afternoon and finish cleaning up the clutter corner I have next to the bed. It feels good to get things cleaned up!

Oh and one more thing to mention. Fiskars is celebrating their birthday! They are 45 this year. Isn’t that so cool? As a Fiskateer, I feel it is my duty to make sure you know about it! How are you doing on the challenges this month? I have been doing a pretty good job of keeping up with my photos. I can’t wait to print them all out and compile a mini album out of them. Hmmm….ideas, ideas, ideas.

See I told you I was a bad blogger. I think I just got caught up with a crazy week at work and lost track of my duties as a challenge maker. I do apologize. I will try to keep up for the rest of the time. It is something I will put as top priority in my list of things to do.

I haven’t done a good job of taking photos this week, but I have taken a few. I took a photo of technology and a photo of something fun, a photo of a new layout I made and a photo of something close up. I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do for the faceless self portrait and I have an idea for a far away photo. The shoes photo should be pretty easy and flowers too. My goal is to upload my photos tomorrow afternoon. We’ll see if I can accomplish that goal.
