I have mentioned that lately I’ve been downloading a LOT of templates.  I really like playing with digi scrapping and templates.  It gives me more creative freedom to not stress on my photos.  Also, it makes it easy to crop my photos to fit into those fun little squares etc.  Since I’m still learning some tips about using Photoshop, having these pre-made squares and shapes takes the stress out of learning how to make my own.  I’ve played around a lot with vector graphics programs and photo-editing programs, but nothing like Photoshop.  So…I have to learn how this program does the same thing that I did on the other programs I was using.  Thank goodness for the internet and google and Photoshop Tutorials!

Ok, so I’m finally getting a little more away from downloading a plethora of digi freebies.  However, I try to visit my FAVE freebie sites about once a day or every two days to see if there are new templates that I just HAVE TO HAVE!  LOL  Here are links to the websites where my latest template downloads have come from, and don’t forget to snoop around these blogs and stores where there are other FAB FREEBIES to be found:

Well here we go.  My next blogging adventure.  I thought I’d start a blog about my newest hobby of digital scrapbooking.  I’m learning something new about this aspect of scrapbooking every day.  I am hoping that making digital scrapbook layouts will help me get more of my photos scrapbooked.   I am never going to get caught up and it’s more fun to look at completed pages than to look at just plain pics from your digi camera on the computer.

I’ve been a “paper” scrapbooker for 10 years and attempted my first digi layout about 2 years ago.  I wasn’t SUPER thrilled with the results and didn’t think twice about experimenting with the digi world until the last couple of months.   Now I’ve jumped in with BOTH FEET and I’m am picking up new tips and tricks like a pro and filling my hard drive with excessive amounts of downloaded freebies.  LOL

So far, I am having a TOTAL BLAST.  I am spending way too much time surfing the internet rather than working on my layouts.  I’m hoping that I will soon outgrow the need to download so many freebies and will focus more my projects in the near future.  So far I have completed a total of 4 projects in the last two months which is GREAT for me.  I’ve done 2 digi scrapbook layouts, one digi brag book, one digi recipe layout, and digi Starbucks Tumbler.

I’ve been experimenting a LOT with templates and I actually LOVE them a LOT.  Talk about taking all the work out of designing your layout.  I’ve also been experimenting with tweaking elements to make them look real, and photo correction.

If you have read this far…I applaud you!  I tend to get REALLY long-winded and ramble on sometimes.  It’s a bad habit that I just can’t break.  LOL

I intend to use this blog to share my digi adventures with all of my friends out in cyberspace and to help you learn along with me.  I hope that some day I will be able to make some of my own digi goodies and share them with you.

COME ALONG WITH ME ON THIS DIGI ADVENTURE!
